How can we plan and lay solid financial foundations now, so our families and communities will be well taken care of? How do we move from a scarcity mindset to one of abundance? I love working with clients to set goals about how to make an impact to bless their family and their communities both now and in the future.

What if the focus less on what we have and more on what we have to give.

I want to serve those who are looking to make an impact and give back.

Hi! I’m Rebecca Yerby. I’m a Christian, Wife, Mom, Community Volunteer and Advocate, and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. I live in a suburb of Birmingham, Alabama with my husband, two sons, and two dogs.

Here is just a little bit more about me, my family, and my desire to build a business that gives back.

My desire to give back and serve is a true anchor in my story.

After graduating from the University of Alabama with my Bachelor’s of Science in Commerce and Business Administration (Accounting), I started my career journey as a tax staff accountant at a large local accounting firm. After a few tax season, I had the opportunity to move to the firm’s financial planning and wealth management group where I developed my knowledge and passion for Financial Planning.

Six and a half years later, I decided to launch my own firm, four10 planning. As my oldest son started elementary school, I realized the need for flexibility in our family was important and running my own firm allows me to be as flexible as I need to be to care for my family and community around me. My desire to share my gifts and knowledge still remains a top priority for me, and I look forward to accomplishing that through four10 planning. Our core values are: meaningful work, community, service, learning, and relationships.

When I’m not spending time with my family or working with clients, you will likely find me serving at our church or with other organizations in the community. I am a member of the Rotaract Club of Birmingham, member and former board member of the Junior League of Birmingham, and an executive board member for Sav-A-Life, Inc. Our family also loves to travel and see new places.

I believe that all of us have a unique story to tell. I look forward to help clients continue to craft their stories.
